Foster Family Program
Clothes Closet
The sound of the doorbell and a child stands at the door with nothing but the pajamas they are wearing. They’re ushered in by their new foster family who quickly tries to make them as comfortable as possible. The next morning is even harder for them as they try to prepare the child for school – an early morning rush to a local store to get something they can wear, and any other basic supplies the child needs to be comfortable.

This is where we as a church can help our community by supplying a Foster Care Clothes Closet. This prayerfully will help ease the burden to the foster child(ren) and the foster parents as they take in a child who comes to them with nothing. Our hope is that when a foster parent receives a foster child(ren) they can call and we will have enough clothes and necessities to get them through 2-3 days.
If you would like to donate supplies or if you are foster parent in need of supplies, contact the church office.
Support Group
We also hold a Foster Family Support Group on the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 6 pm - 7 pm in our church fellowship hall. Come join a community of foster parents as we seek to serve the children of our area. Learn from each other's experiences and help each other through the unique challenges of being foster parents.
